Local Music SHOW – Johnny Romance!!!

Johnny Romance is the stage name of local artist Ed Thanhouser. Ed was the leader of Portland, Oregon’s longtime alt-folk outfit Ed & The Red Reds, then he moved to Vermont, via a several-year stint in Japan. Ed’s songs are lovingly crafted chunks of modern Americana that weave between generations from Hank Williams to Wilco. With their carefully wrought lyricism, wit and storytelling, these are “red” songs that Ed describes as “the opposite of the blues,” full of lust for meaning and connection amidst the anxieties of the modern world. Ed always brings incredible energy to his live performances. Don’t miss this opportunity to see him perform!
