Jill & Chris are a soulful acoustic duo from the West River Valley, comprised of Jill Sachs (vocals, rhythm guitar, banjolele) and Chris Mays (lead guitar). The duo brings listeners on a journey all over the musical map, infusing their own introspective flavor on classics from the new and the old, while blending in originals.
Their vibrant sound matches bluesy vocals with guitar licks, ranging from soft and smooth to hard charging rhythms. Their shows are known to engage with the audience, feature wah pedal hijinks and summon a collective howl from time to time.
