Local Music SHOW – A Holiday ‘Thang’ with Midnight Betty!!!

This is going to be TRULY special event! Two full hours of rollicking good HOLIDAY-related fun, suh-we-e-e-e-e-e-e-eet harmonies, and an all around Joy-to-the-World kind of show! If you’ve seen them before, you know: Midnight Betty really knows how to light up a room! If you haven’t, you need to get out more… And with Christmas only 8 days away, this is exactly what could cure any residual Scrooge-y- or Grinch-y-ness that may be lingering in your system.

For this show only, they’ll be serving up a mix of holiday tunes, amidst their more ‘usual’, clever, witty, fun, and always beautifully rendered songs. There may even be special appearances, by other musical-types, who spin in and around the orbit of this highly-talented duo! DON’T miss it!!! It’s a TUESDAY night – what-on-earth else do you have going on?!?!?

Midnight Betty is Chelle Murrey (half of “Chelle and Paul”) and Oriana Barros (half of “Hazelnuts”). They’re fairly new to the Brattleboro music scene, having been playing together for a little more than a year, but they’re hitting it hard, and making beautiful waves! Chelle plays guitar, and Oriana plays keys, banjo, melodica, and the occasional tin can (with chopstick). They both sing, and their harmonies are – as I believe I may have already ‘hinted’ at – truly exquisite!
