Derek O’Kanos – one of my HEROES – is always a trooper, willing to take a break from cleaning up the yard, put down the rake, pick up a guitar, step in and put on a great show! And it’s ALWAYS a treat to hear and see him perform! Whether he’s playing originals or covers, his music is authentic and familiar; reminiscent of the seekers and searchers who came before him. He always bring fantastic and infectious energy to his shows. He’s released two EP’s to date, On the Sleeve (2021) and Spoken Roads (2022), both drenched in powerpop, folkrock, and alternative vibes.
