An LMS Triple Header!!!
April 20 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Luis Lascari is a singer songwriter from South Texas, who relocated to Vermont a couple years ago. Relying heavily on wit and storytelling, his original music can reliably be classified as a form of punk-influenced folk.
Dylan Patrick Ward is a folk misfit from Vermont’s dirty south. Equal parts compassionate and irreverent, his songs delve into the minds and lives of oddballs, outcasts, misfits and people on the brink.
He has a sharp sense of humor and an instinctive sympathy for the underdog, and has been compared to great musical humorists like John Prine and Randy Newman, as well as indie-rock/antifolk legends like the Mountain Goats and Paul Baribeau.
Since arriving on the scene in 2021, he’s become increasingly respected as a writer and performer, and has shared the stage with beloved acts like Bill Callahan, Peter Mulvey, Jeffrey Lewis, Guy Davis, Michael Schneewais and others.
“He’s funny. He’s also as serious as an ax handle.“ Peter Mulvey
Alexis Pastuhov has been writing and performing original music for nearly 20 years. From Portland, ME to Denver, CO Pastuhov has shared his unique brand of indie-folk on stages large and small. Drawing on influences that range from Elliott Smith to Sam Cooke, Pastuhov has independently released 3 full length albums, 2 EPs, as well as a 2017 album release under the moniker Bad Galaxy. All are worth your attention!
Alex’s most recent album, titled “New Mirror”, has been his most successful to date, with the song “Single and Young” gaining real traction on radio and streaming playlists. “Spot on”, is the phrase I like to use to describe his performances, as it equally applies to his songwriting, his vocals, and his guitar work.
