Local Music Showcase – Multiple Performers!

Emily Margaret
16 year old Emily has been writing songs since she was 9 years old. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Amy Whinehouse, Erykah Badu, and Hiatus Kaiyote, her vocals land with a soulful, ominous, R-n-B sound, that she poetically mixes with her own heartfelt, emotional lyrics. She’s been writing up a storm lately and can’t wait to share her recent works with you! Emily will be performing her set with a full band, comprised of of other young and talented performers.
Laura Lockie
Laura Lockie recently moved to Brattleboro from Atlanta, Georgia where she regularly played jams, open mics, and occasional gigs with other musicians, and as a solo artist. She has recorded a CD of mostly original material with guitarist Charles King, and has appeared in film and television as a background actor and singer. Her set includes a mix of covers from different eras and genres, and original material in the American singer/songwriter tradition.
Donald McCullough
As always, your host, and if need be, or the mood strikes, he’ll hack out a few tunes – some originals, some covers – on his guitar.
