It’s the kind of music you want to sip an ice-cold beer to\, on a warm evening – the reminder we all need\, that summer is here! \nJohn McClellen’s music has been accurately described as “a well-kept secret”. Writing and recording\, but rarely performing\, with his Bay Area band\, John Mac and the Moraggots\, he has an extensive catalog of soulful\, often-jazz-influenced tunes\, featuring tasty chord progressions and clever lyrics (or is that\, clever chord progressions and tasty lyrics? Pretty much works either way.)\, and oft-understated vocals\, scattered all around the internet. We’re lucky to have him\, now\, as Brattleboro’s well-kept secret! \nDonald McCullough\, the host of the Local Music Showcase will take the mic\, and bang out a few tunes – some covers\, some originals. \nNext week: The lovely and INSANELY talented Aria Zarnoski!
