It’s cold outside. Everybody’s going a little stir-crazy with a combination of gluttonous consumption of holiday delectables\, sugar\, and alcohol\, vacation-related inactivity\, and the impending dread of having to return to work and ‘normal’ life in the encroaching future. What’re you gonna do?! \nWe have a remedy! A universal remedy… \nAn Evening of Great Music and Good Friends.\nDylan Patrick Ward\n“He’s funny. He’s also as serious as an ax handle.” – Peter Mulvey \nDylan Patrick Ward is a folk misfit from Vermont’s dirty south. Equal parts compassionate and irreverent\, his songs delve into the minds and lives of oddballs\, outcasts\, misfits and people on the brink. \nHe has a sharp sense of humor and an instinctive sympathy for the underdog\, and has been compared to great musical humorists like John Prine and Randy Newman\, as well as indie-rock/antifolk legends like the Mountain Goats and Paul Baribeau. \nSince arriving on the scene in 2021\, he’s become increasingly respected as a writer and performer\, and has shared the stage with beloved acts like Bill Callahan\, Peter Mulvey\, Jeffrey Lewis\, Guy Davis\, Michael Schneewais and others. \nIan Galipeau\nIan Galipeau is an indie-rock songwriter for hopeful cynics. He dwells in his craft to an obsessive degree\, weaving empathetic storytelling and careful wordplay into thought-provoking\, nuanced songs. His lyrics are where his obsession lies – he is not an artist who can just write a simple love song\, or a breakup song. He’s compelled (for better or worse) to use songs to explore something out-of-the-ordinary. Sometimes it’s a meditation on writers block\, or the nostalgia of parenthood\, or the perspective of a Ray Bradbury character… but there’s always some fragment of the unexpected. Musically he leans toward indie-rock\, drawing comparisons to Hozier and Ben Harper. Through the course of a set\, you’ll also hear strands of retro-pop and Americana that will keep you on your toes. \nIan is based in Keene\, NH. He’s been performing around New England since 2010\, and has shared the stage with the likes of Arc Iris\, Dietrich Strauss\, and Ian Fitzgerald. His discography includes two sister-EPs\, titled Raze/Raise\, released in March of 2018\, followed by a full-length album\, titled\,  Like We Were Never Here At All\, in September of 2022. This year has seen the release of 3 singles\, plus a 3-song EP in October\, born out of a ‘song-a-day’ writing challenge that Ian embarked on during the month of September. \nTickets\nTickets are $15 per person\, general admission.
